The sole reason I decided to buy the Champagne Shimmer bathbomb in the first place was because it had a gold coloured ring inside. I was weary of the gold leaf in the bathbomb, however the image on the website appears to have been taken with just the top of the bathbomb facing me because when I had inspected the bathbomb I saw that the bottom half of the bathbomb was plain white.
Not sure what the scent was supposed to be as the website for Charmed Aroma says under the scent description to simply let my senses enjoy the bubbly pink champagne and grapefruit and then it goes into describing the moisturizing elements.
I got zero pink champagne or grapefruit scent-sation from this. What I did get was candy necklace scent, like many bathbombs I have used in the past. Not a bad scent, just not as described.
Ring: CUTE
Scent: Meh.
Fizz: Decent enough
Moisturizing: Gentle, non-oily
Clean-up-ability: Spot-On errrrr off…. errrrr…. it cleaned up easily
Overall I’d give this a 4/5. I LOVE the ring. I love that it was a gold ring. I love all of the jewel’s cuts. The gold leaf was easy to rinse out of my tub and the colour didn’t stain. the downfall though is that I think that if something is being described in a citrus-y or champagne-y scent (I would say that is tart/tangy) that it should actually be scented the same.
